Hello! I’m Troy, a fourth-year mechatronics engineering student at OTU. My underlying passion for engineering comes from the opportunity of creating an abstract idea and applying scientific principles to produce something tangible. Companies such as SpaceX, Tesla, Boston Dynamics, or even YouTubers such as Mark Rober and Skyentific are some of the few places where I draw my inspiration from.
Being able to see something as basic as rotational kinematics or complex-like aspects of Navier-Stokes implemented in real-world solutions provides me the opportunity to explore meaningful engineered designs. These are solutions that transcend barriers and overcome challenges that work to innovate society and improve lives. My hope is that I reflect these values onto my projects because it’s not just about what I built but more about what they represent.
