Autonomous Delivery Vehicle
The autonomous delivery vehicle project was a concept project for a third-year CAD course I took in Fall 2019 at OTU. The design requirements were that the autonomous vehicle requires minimal human intervention, travel within a 50 meter squared area, have a maximum speed of 50 km/h, and have a maximum payload capacity of 300 kg. The project tied in 3 years of CAD experience using Siemens NX 12 and Solidworks. This project had an emphasis on mechanical design and integrating mechatronic systems to create an optimized vehicle design. Below are some example slides from the presentation. The finite element analysis was executed using NX 12.
